The fund is recommended for those who wish to achieve a better performance than the return available from interest-bearing instruments over the recommended investment horizon, also taking advantage of the performance of OTP Fund Management Ltd.’s developed market equity funds.

Objective of the fund
The fund aims to provide returns that outperform the Hungarian government bond market over the medium term by investing predominantly in bond funds and to a lesser extent in developed market equity funds.
Investment policy
According to the target asset mix of the fund, 70% of the capital will be invested in the capital-guaranteed OTP Optima Capital Guaranteed Bond Fund, which is predominantly composed of safe short-term Hungarian government bonds. In order to take advantage of the return opportunities offered by developed countries equity markets the portfolio manager manages the asstes of the fund actively. By holding units of the OTP Trend Fund, the portfolio manager takes on or increases equity exposure when the leading equity indices are in a rising trend.

There is no limit on the value of an investment in the fund. You can buy investment units in any amount and increase or decrease the value of your investment as you wish. Moreover, the nominal value of the fund is HUF 1, so you can easily, flexibly and accurately adjust the value of your investment to the amount you want to invest.

How does settlement take place?The fund is open-ended, so units can be bought and redeemed on any trading day at the net asset value (price) per unit on that day. The distribution of the fund’s units is subject to T+4 days settlement, i.e. the settlement and the crediting of the units take place on the 4th day of distribution (T+4 days) following the order.
