About OTP Fund Management Ltd.
OTP Fund Management Ltd. is member of the OTP Group and the first subsidiary of OTP Bank, established in 1993. In addition to Hungary, we also have a subsidiary in Bulgaria, Croatia, Ukraine and Serbia, aiming to play a leading role abroad in the Central and Eastern European markets.
Based on assets under management, OTP Fund Management Ltd. is a dominant fund and asset management company in the Hungarian market. Total assets managed (as part of institutional asset management and in funds in total) as at the end of October 2025 was near HUF 5,800 billion. The majority of our assets, more than HUF 5,100 billion, are managed in our investment funds, making us the leader in the Hungarian investment fund market.
We invest the assets of our investment funds and of portfolios managed for institutions in securities, and our professionals have decades of experience in money, bond and equity markets, as well as in specialist areas such as commodity investments and foreign exchange. Our absolute return funds may also use derivative instruments.
Our company was founded in 1993, among the first in the Hungarian market. We have been managing open-end investment funds for retail customers since 1996. Over the past more than 30 years, we have developed a range of innovative solutions, offering clients a choice of traditional money market, bond, mixed and equity funds, as well as a range of absolute return, commodity, capital-protected and foreign exchange funds.
From January 2022, in terms of the OTP Climate Change Equity Fund and the OTP Omega Developed Market Equity Fund of Funds, Fund Management Ltd. takes into account and appropriately weighs sustainability risks, ESG (environmental/societal/corporate governance) aspects among the investment risks when making investment decisions regarding the funds in accordance with Article 8 of Regulation (EC) No 2019/2088 of the European Parliament and of the Council on Sustainability Disclosures in the Financial Services Sector (“SFDR”).
In connection with OTP Bank's expansion in Central and Eastern Europe, we have also launched funds that are marketed through cross-border activities.
In addition to our retail products, we have also issued funds developed for institutional investors and institutional series. In October 2000, we took over the fund asset management activities of the OTP Group, which we had been carrying out since 1995, and which still today represent a significant added value of our professional experience in investment fund management. In addition to OTP Funds, we also provide portfolio management services for other Hungarian institutions. Since 2002, we have also managed health and pension fund and other institutional assets. We are honoured to be able to provide portfolio management services to the Pensions Guarantee Fund, the Investor Protection Fund and the Association of Hungarian Insurance Companies.

We are the exclusive asset manager of investment funds, special-purpose funds and individual institutional portfolios. The clear organisational separation of conflicting activities (e.g. portfolio management, equity trading, issuance, underwriting) within the OTP Group is an important guarantee that the interests of our asset management clients are fully protected, as is their operation as an independent profit centre.
Professional association membership: stricter ethical standards
Our company actively participates in the work of the Association of Hungarian Investment Fund and Asset Management Companies (BAMOSZ). OTP Fund Management Ltd. also delegates members to the board and the professional committees of the organisation. This organisation plays an important role in the safe functioning of the market, setting professional and ethical standards for its members that go beyond the legal requirements.
As active members of the association, we participate in the drafting and commenting on legislation affecting the sector, which – in addition to communicating the requirements of professional and practical life – enables us to become familiar with the laws and other legislative changes in the pipeline and to prepare for the changes in advance. In addition, OTP Fund Management is a supporting member of the National Association of Voluntary Funds, as well as a member of BCSDH (Hungarian Business Council for Sustainable Development), the THBE (Association of Socially Responsible Investors) and the HUSIF (Hungarian Sustainable Investment and Financing Association).
Ownership structure
OTP Fund Management Ltd. is indirectly 100% owned by OTP Bank Plc. Our company is directly owned 95% by Bank Center No.1. Beruházási és Fejlesztési Kft. and 5% by OTP Bank Plc.
